Hi All!! I’m getting ready for a really busy holiday show season! Here’s what’s happening in November:
November 5 – Shoreline Community Center Holiday Crafts Market (free admission!) - http://cosweb.ci.shoreline.wa.us/uploads/attachments/par/postcard_web.jpg
November 12 - Art FX Gallery in Fremont – artist reception Saturday November 12 (free admission and wine and snacks!) Details will soon appear at: http://www.artfx.net
November 17-19 Best of the NW Holiday show: http://www.bestnwcrafts.com/events.cfm
And I’ll be having my “fifteen minutes of fame” on November 8th when a crew from HGTV’s craft show “That’s Clever” comes to tape me in my studio making one of my purses and some of the fabric postcards. I don’t know yet when it will air, but you can bet you’ll find out as soon as I know!! http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/shows_hclvr
If you know any quilters who would love a gift of fabric, beads, or embellishments, check out my ever-growing web store at www.q42designs.com. I’m offering free shipping on orders over $25.00 from now till the end of the year.
Did you know you can also buy my purses and artwork online? I have a selection of matted 6” x 4” pieces for $40.00. See http://www.q42designs.com/Gallery1.html
Purses – well, they’re not quite online, but if you email me I can send you photos of what’s available. You can get an idea of the selection at http://www.q42designs.com/PurseGallery.html . Most are priced at $40.00-$45.00; the yarn-and-bead-embellished bag goes for $75.00.
Hope to see you at one of the above shows. I’ll email you soon with the December show schedule!
Back to the studio!

Hello from the Walkers,
You've met us. You know we are nice. Please join us this Friday evening, November 4th, 5pm-10pm, to meet Mark Foraker and Pridon Goisashvili (Freddy). They've just intalled a beautiful show on the second floor gallery. Mark has created some world class ceramic sculptures and Freddy is an artist from the Georgia Republic. His paintings are a Must See, and they are really fine people.
It is a Fells Point Art Loop First Friday. Stop in and have a glass of wine with us. Talk to Mark and Freddy, then walk around Fells Point. The weather is going to be the best of the year - this will be a really fun night. You can also visit our local Art Galleries and Restaurants. We will give you a map of the participating galleries - it will be better than Halloween, plus no costume to fool with.
We recently bought the house next door. We are celebrating city life and want to show you our new place. (it's easier to park on our side of town, so Please come!)
Know an artist looking for a place to show their work? Please forward this e-mail.
Thanks,
Tony and Melinda Walker
