Baltimore, Maryland June 2026 - Woke up hungry and decided to take a trip the Waverly Farmers Market to check breakfast possibilities! I've always referred to it as the Waverly Farmer's Market because it's in Waverly but officially goes by 32nd Street Framer's Market :-)
Open year round, rain, snow, or shine. The 32nd Street Farmers Market is open 7:00 - 12:00 Noon, EVERY Saturday, at the intersection of 32nd and Barclay Streets in Waverly. I've been visiting this Farmer's Market since the 90's and today, I'm still amazed there will be Vendors present even during springtime rain, brutal summer temp's and cold winter Saturday mornings, truly year round! The short answer is YES but if the honest question is, should you eat that for breakfast, then the answer becomes kinda muddied. But I'll eat it for breakfast anyway! My favorites include Saigon Remembered (Space 53) and Taco Loco (Space 1), never walked away disappointed. This bright Saturday morning, decided Chicken Curry, Chai Dumplings and Spring Rolls at Saigon Remembered. More than enough for breakfast and filling enough to skip dinner but not 2nd dinner. Taco Loco makes great burritos and no matter how often I watch, I can't figure out how they get that much food into a burrito, roll it neatly and fry it! Also saw mouth watering Jamaican Food, dessert pies, fried mushroom sandwiches as well as fresh fruit & veggies. The booth set up at Paradise Island Cuisine with the extra large pan (above photo) was impressive. There will also be a few spots with Arts and Crafts but not many. Lots of big fresh fruit and vegetable stands, more then enough to fill the biggest pantries. Usually the Market will have a solo guitar or accordion player entertaining the passerby's. AND! If you're around the Market after 10:00AM, you can take a very short walk to the Punjab Market and grab a few homemade Samosa's as well as pick up a variety of Indian and specialty spices for your next curry. All in all, a pleasant and fulfilling visit to my local farmer's market in a Waverly.
