20 years later, still in the game

Well, let's see... for the past 20 years I was still living in New Haven CT at the height of my art career.

I also created and produced a show called Forgot to Laugh: Sideshow and Animation Festival. Which features half live circus acts (contortionists, knife throwers, burlesque, etc) and half animated shorts (Bill Plympton, Nina Paley, Happy Tree Friends, etc)

I also make short videos for my own pleasure under the name Dr. Wilde. Noir, dark humor and sexually innuendo.

I also got married to my heartbreaking beautiful wife Monica Shushelnycky. She is my soul.

Now, I'm semi-retired and we moved to Saint Paul, MN. When I moved, I dropped the Baloney and now I go by either Tony Juliano or Tony J. I still do some exhibitions and some art festivals. I have a solo art exhibition coming up in September 2026 in Minneapolis.

I mostly just make comic books and short videos now. My 3rd comic book Funky Garbage: Zombies' Open Swim from 8-10 on Weekdays will be coming out soon.

Rewind 20 Years Ago

From Rick Santiago - It was 20 Years ago Tony and I first connected online while he was still living in Connecticut. Tony was one of the first artists that had a show at the Art Under Ground Studio in Hampden, we went from a digital to an analog relationship! In subsequent years, Tony Juliano was a regular at Artscape here in Baltimore. Congrats to Tony and Monica. So happy to see you're still in the game Tony J!
