Versatility and great strength in colors really defines Paul Sierra's work. When you see Paul's
work, the colors just jump out at you, it's almost tropical in nature. His subjects vary
greatly but I like the paintings that contains people subjects.

Art heals the spirit by virtue of the
creative act, which helps us find in
our memories and myths a new
identity.
The act of painting becomes the act
of memory, a line from the present to
the past and back again, establishing
our identity as a person.
Background - I was born in Havana,
Cuba and immigrated to the United
States in 1961.
I received my formal art training at
The School Of The Art Institute of
Chicago.
Although I grew up in Cuba, my
artistic and emotional links to my
Latin roots are intertwined with the
influence of North American art and
culture.
